After 18 years of faithful service, Senior Pastor Scott Markley has announced his plans to retire from FBCLW. Pastor Scott will continue to serve in his current role while we seek our next Senior Pastor. His leadership during this transition will provide continued stability and guidance for our church family. We are grateful for his years of faithful dedication and look forward to honoring him in the days ahead.

Scott, Tina, and their three sons came to Lake Wales in the summer of 2007. Over these many years, God has used them to impact our church and community in profound ways. They have raised their three sons in this community they have grown to love. They have led our church to be more missional than ever. Scott enjoys staying healthy by running & and gets fired up cheering on his college teams. Some days you’ll find him having lunch at The Cheese Shop.
