As the children's ministry of First Baptist Church of Lake Wales, we strive to create an environment where children look forward to Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Our dedicated and caring leaders demonstrate Jesus' love while using an age-appropriate curriculum to teach God's word. We partner with families to lead children to Christ and make disciples for future generations.

CONTINUOUS KIDS PROGRAMS

KIDS CONNECTION

BIRTH-5TH GRADE

All age groups meet at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday. We use The Gospel Project from Lifeway to create an engaging experience that inspires deeper faith and helps kids apply God's truth to their lives.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

BIRTH-2ND GRADE

10:30 a.m. is Worship time for children from birth through second grade. Children gather to listen to the Bible's message and participate in activities that enhance their understanding of God's Word.

KIDS 4:12

3RD-5TH GRADE

Based on 1 Timothy 4:12, we use this time of worship with our older kids to remind them they are not too young to set an example for others. We gather in the sanctuary at 10:30 a.m. to worship with the congregation. Then, KIDS 4:12 moves to their room to listen to a biblical message focused on their age group.

AWANA

PRESCHOOL-5TH GRADE

AWANA meets every Wednesday evening from 6 to 7:15 p.m. During this time, children focus on memorizing scripture while engaging in activities. AWANA is an exciting midweek meeting for kids!
